Community Champions Survivors on Giving Tuesday 2022
This time of year offers lots of opportunities to reflect on what we’re thankful for. The generosity of our community is at the top of CAASE’s list, especially because 87 people who believe in our mission donated this Giving Tuesday.
We set a goal of raising $15,000 to champion survivors. Folks showed up in amazing ways and gave $15,835! That generosity is being matched with $10,000 plus a 1:1 match for all gifts from new donors, bringing the total to $28,671.63.
We appreciate every dollar you gave, each shout-out you posted about CAASE on social media, and all the conversations you had with folks about our services that support survivors. It’s work that’s only possible because of friends like you.
The impact of this fundraiser will be felt throughout 2023. It supports free legal services for survivors of sexual harm, evidence-based prevention education that empowers teens, legislative advocacy so survivors’ voices are present in our state laws, and community engagement programs that connect survivors to each other and to healing.
If you didn’t get a chance to give on November 29, don’t worry! It’s never too late to show generosity. You can still donate here. Every cent directly funds CAASE’s work to create a world free from sexual harm.
