Melanie Martin
Melanie Martin is a Managing Attorney at CAASE. She joined CAASE in 2021 as a Staff Attorney after fostering a career supporting survivors of domestic violence. Melanie has a passion for supporting immigrants and survivors of childhood sexual harm. She currently focuses her work on advocating for survivors of sexual assault in both civil and criminal courts.
Melanie attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate studies in secondary education. While a student, she was inspired by working with diverse populations and decided to later pursue a career in law. Melanie went on to law school at Michigan State University College of Law, where she focused her studies on public interest.
