The Race for CAASE Team Runs Toward a World Free of Sexual Harm

With 36 team members participating virtually and in-person, the Race for CAASE 2022 team hit the track to support of our Prevention Education programs! Once again, our athletes showed up with commitment and grit, working up a sweat in the name of activism as many members gathered at Grant Park on Saturday as part of the Strides for Peace Race Against Gun Violence.

So, how did we do? As of June 13, the Race for CAASE team is closing in on their finish line with $15,191 raised. We need your help meeting this year’s goal of $40,000. You can support the team by making a contribution through June 30, 2022. All gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Greer Foundation — doubling the pace of your giving! Join the cause by donating today!

Race for CAASE Team members gathered to walk, run, and have fun on June 11 while others are completing their prevention pledges virtually.

In the meantime, we want to extend profound gratitude to those who came out for this year’s fundraiser! We’re so proud of how you rallied your friends and family. We also want to thank this year’s gold sponsors Law Lynx and Mayer Brown, silver sponsors Friedman Family Foundation and Barry’s Bootcamp, and bronze sponsors Waggles Pet Resort, Chicago Chiropractic Center, and Presidential Dental Associates for devoting their efforts to the event!

We’d also like to highlight the work of George Haines and Joey McCall, who gracefully collaborated and mobilized our community for the big event as host committee co-chairs!

And, of course, we’re grateful to Strides for Peace, the organizer of the Race Against Gun Violence. This annual event enables so much meaningful work throughout the city, including that at CAASE.
Remember, you have until June 30, 2022 to support the Race for CAASE Team. Help them reach their goal now!
