Criminalized for My Survival hosted by Women’s Justice Institute

Join The Women’s Justice Institute on Friday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m. for Punished for My Survival. There will be a screening of the powerful film, “And So I Stayed,” followed by a panel discussion of women leaders and survivors, including CAASE Legal Director Elizabeth Payne.

The film shares stories of incarcerated, abused survivors and how the legal system gets domestic violence wrong. Dive into real stories and raw talks on how survival gets criminalized in tough times.
