CAASE

As an advocate and a survivor of prostitution, I know first-hand the harms of the sex trade and the importance of ending sexual exploitation. Being in prostitution involves violence on a regular basis. If we don't start elimanating the demand side of the sex trade, thousands of women and children in Chicago will continue to be victimized. I am grateful that an organization like CAASE exists. The important work of CAASE helps ensure that other indivisuals will not have to experience the physical and psychological trauma infllicted onto so many women and girls in prostitution."

  About Caase

PREVENTION

The most effective strategy to fight sexual exploitation is to prevent it from occurring.  CAASE’s prevention work focuses specifically on creating and implementing age-appropriate curriculum to bring to high schools and youth groups throughout Chicago.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION

Community Education efforts focus on raising awareness about commercial sexual exploitation in order to help the public understand the harms that are inherent in the sex trade.

INTERVENTION

CAASE works to create and support initiatives that intervene in the demand for individuals in the sex trade.  All CAASE supported intervention strategies emerge from insights gained from our groundbreaking research with consumers of commercial sex.
